Ride along on Lap 2 of the first race for the amateurs at the 2015 Kenda Tennessee Knockout American Extreme Enduro at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, TN. Luckily the arm pump had faded and Woody got into a better groove. He also had a fews crashes. That KTM 350XC sure can put off some steam when it gets hot! (more…)
Our host, Woody, was lucky enough to get an invite from Cameron Steele and the Desert Assassins to ride the 2015 Rip To Cabo. This adventure is the journey of a lifetime every time, and should be a bucket list event for any off road enthusiast. This is the trimmed down version of the first stage of the second day of the Baja Rally. The stage itself took just under three hours to complete, equaling 125km. We went by vineyards, rode through a pine forest and finished on a wide open road. It was a great stage and this footage doesn’t do it justice. (more…)
Riding with Woody is your chance to follow Seat Time’s host as he takes on new adventures. This GoPro footage is from the 2014 Big Buck GNCC Sportsman A class where Woody raced on a KR4 Performance Arrive-N-Ride KTM 300XC.
Racing a GNCC event is much different than anticipated. The ‘quad’ trails aren’t as wide as you would imagine and the elbow rubbing in the woods happens every other turn. Too bad Woody’s baby hands gave out on him, as he was riding fairly well, staying in the top ten of the Sportsman A class.

Here is the second test from the Cross Timbers National Enduro. At this point, we knew I was a tad faster than Patrick so I started behind Russell Bobbitt, second in the pecking order. You can also tell from this video that Bobbitt is still a crap ton faster than I am. (more…)
Here is Test 1 at the Cross Timbers National Enduro in Oklahoma City, OK. I was on row 26 with Husaberg rider Russell Bobbitt and Patrick Koether from Rekluse. Patrick and I didn’t know the pecking order, but I knew being off the bike for 6 months that he should go first and we would figure it out from there. We knew Bobbitt would take off and be gone from view.
This is the first test I had ridden the Sherco 300i on. I did ride it at the demo’s the day before, but this is racing and racing is always more intense. As you can tell from the video, I got comfortable on the bike really quick and had a very fun test.
Thanx to all the guys that passed me in such a smooth fashion. It makes it easy that the pro’s can fly by so quick!
