Seat Time

As teams are packing up their bikes and loading their containers, the awards are being prepared and the beer is being chilled. The 87th International Six Days Enduro is a wrap and it has been an amazing experience. Day Six is the traditional Moto Test day and in Germany it was a bit different. The test today was more of a Supermoto, with 40% concrete and 60% dirt, asking the riders to push it for one last day. Some were letting it all hang out on the concrete, while some played it safe and just rode around for the crowds. (more…)

The Penultimate Day, to use a very big word, at the ISDE solidified a win for all three of the French Trophy Teams. With the top four overall coming from the French World Trophy team, they seem to be competing with their own team members more than the other international competitors. The French Junior World Trophy Team has the closest score right now, with Great Britain in second by just over a minute and a half. The French Women’s Trophy Team has the largest lead, just under two hours, over Germany. With only the motocross portion of the Six Days tomorrow, the current standings for the Team Competition are almost certainly finalized. (more…)

Day Three at the ISDE was a new day for everybody. The riders got to see some new tests and Hoop, Shan & myself got more lost than we would like to admit. This is my first ISDE, so I have listened to a lot of stories from different people who have attended an ISDE before. The main story that I have heard multiple times, is about getting lost at an ISDE. Since we have been doing such a great job of not getting lost, it was either our time or karma came to kick some ass today. We drove around every city outside of Zschopau looking for some form of a sign toward a Special Test. Luckily once we got on track, we stayed on track.
