Seat Time isn’t just about enjoying a Pint Full of Awesome; it’s about having a good time in all that we do and transferring that good time on to you. This was the premise behind our first photo shoot last month. We took the new 2013 KTM 300XC, added some special custom bits and took some sweet pics. These photos aren’t your typical ‘moto’ shots, though; that wouldn’t work for us. We made sure that the Seat Time look and feel was brought into these photos with the use of retro-outfitted models, sick moto whips and a damn good time! Sorry, I can’t give you the models’ phone numbers, but the rider is Caleb Ramsay, Texas Pro and local bad ass.
As you can tell, we had a great time while creating this photo shoot. It all started with the brand new 2013 KTM 300XC, which we’re pretty sure was the first one sold in Texas. The KTM was purchased from SMS Racing in Denton, TX. The custom graphics were done by RidePG, but applied in my home garage. Nihilo Concepts, out of the WMR Competition Performance, Inc. in Stuart, Florida, created a sexy custom-etched clutch cover for the 300 and, of course, we just had to buy that super sweet brake tip! A big thanks to all these companies for their help and support.
The creative idea behind this shoot was mine, but it was brought to life with the help of my wife, Tamra, Tiffany Vardell and Amy Robinson. On the day of the shoot, Matt Simmons and Walter Fuentes showed all of us how using a professional photographer and make-up artist can make or break your efforts. They helped in so many ways to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted.
We’re hoping this project will open more doors for us here at Seat Time. If you like what you see, please share it with your friends. Feel free to contact us if you’d like to help in making your project come to life. But, we didn’t just do this for marketing purposes; we did this because we enjoy having a good time! Throughout the shoot everyone involved smiled, laughed and totally enjoyed themselves. We hope that you can get a bit of that enjoyment from this as well.
Enjoy a Pint Full of Awesome and be on the look out for the behind-the-scenes video from the shoot. We’ll see you next time!
