As we move into the ‘off season’, there is less racing to talk about. But a lack of racing results doesn’t mean we can’t chat it up about what we are expecting for the 2013 year, rumors about teams and some random bits to keep it light and entertaining.
John Day, of JDayOffroad, has grown his Series in the North East to gain National recognition. He has been asked to bring his Series across the country and he has plans to grow. He isn’t just a Promoter though, he has deep roots in the racing community, starting at an early age riding with his father. His abilities took him to Europe to race a season of World Enduro’s. There was a lot to learn since they race a different format than we do. After a close look, some of their format stuck with him and has made it’s way into his Series format.
JDayOffroad isn’t taking on the Premiere Offroad Series’ just yet, but they will be testing the water this coming March outside of Daytona, holding their first southern round at the Bostwick Creek MX in Green Cove Springs, Florida. If you are heading to Bike Week, we suggest you plan on finding a class, register and head out to race. We’re hoping Johnny G and his Pro class accomplices will put on a show for all to enjoy!
Thanx again to John Day Jr for his time and for sharing his knowledge. We look forward to watching his Series grow and seeing what the ‘Future of Offroad‘ has in store. Remember to always enjoy a Pint Full of Awesome; Take pictures, tag us and have fun out there.
Please check out our sponsors and give them some love.
