It’s December and the year is quickly coming to an end. Before 2014 is already common place, we wanted to chat with a few Endurocross ladies to hear how they got involved in the sport and what they thought of the Las Vegas Endurocross Finale. Rachel Gutish and Sarah Whitmore were nice enough to join us for this endeavor.
Rachel is a 17 year lass from the North East. She has been riding for the majority of her life and got her first Endurocross win at the Las Vegas Endurocross Finale. She is a bit soft spoken, but don’t let that fool you, she is a beast on the bike. She has two ISDE’s under her belt, multiple years racing GNCC’s and is quickly becoming a regular on the Endurocross podium. She was a pleasure to have on the show and we look forward to catching up with her as she moves onto the FMF/ RPM/ KTM Racing Team.
Sarah Whitmore brings another level of seriousness to the table when the helmet strap tightens and the engine fires up. She easily states that she can be a bit too serious while racing, but off the bike she is a laughing lady who makes you feel immediately comfortable. She was an ISDE rookie with Rachel in Germany during 2012, but before that she has many accolades to her name when it comes to racing Motocross. It was cool to hear more about her back story and her future plans with her main man Phil Smage.
We will be live again next Tuesday at 8pm, please tune in live and join us in the chatroom for our last two shows of the year. Have a great holiday and remember to always enjoy a Pint Full of Awesome.
