Did you know that we’re also an offroad podcast? This is our fifth year creating the webshow Seat Time for ourselves and our fans. We’ve had many iterations of the show, hosts have come and gone and we continue to evolve. We wanted to make sure everyone was aware that you could listen to Seat Time as an offroad podcast, as well as an webshow.Podcasts have taken off in the past ten years. iTunes and the iPhone brought an entirely new revenue stream for media creators. Though we were a bit late to the game, we began producing Seat Time shows in January of 2011. We sat on a couch, recorded with a video camera and then edited after the fact. We collected a few shows, exported the audio and added those episodes to iTunes for those look for audio only offroad news.
The past two years have been our biggest growth years to date, along with us finding a great platform for the show. If you were to watch show form the very beginning, you can tell we have no idea what we’re doing. Hopefully the beer drinking and bench racing still comes across though. That’s the main premise behind Seat Time.
If you enjoy Seat Time, please pass links on to your friends that you ride and race with. We continue to hear that someone should start an ‘offroad podcast’, well here we are. We’ve been here for a few years and we hope to be here for many more!
