Dustin and Nick from Slaughter Trail Guides were the ones who made this quick trip as rideable as it was. We knew we only had a short amount of time on the Slaughter Pen trails and they helped maximize the stoke. They know all the trails in, and around, the Bentonville mountain bike area. Reach out to them for tours, guides or advice!

The bike Liam rode, a Norco Fluid FS1 24, was rented from Buddy Pegs. If you have kids that ride, you need to stop by this kids only bicycle shop in the Bella Vista area. They only sell bicycles for kids, as well as classes to help children start their journey on two wheels.

I rented a Specialized Stumpjumper from the Gearhead Experience Center right there in downtown Bentonville. I have yet to really push it on a more modern 29” mountain bike and this thing blew me away. Carbon everything (it seemed like), handled awesome and once I got the suspension to my liking I could jump it to my hearts content. If you haven’t ridden one, I would suggest renting one.

The VRBO we stayed at was within riding, or walking, distance to everything in downtown Bentonville.  For quick eats right by our VRBO, we ate at The Peddlers Pub a few times, pizza and sandwiches, YUM! The HUB Bike Lounge and Bike Rack Brewery are also in that same area. OH, you have to go to TRASH Creamery, WOWSERS!!! Onyx Coffee is kind of a given, get a pour over, you’re welcome.
