KTM’s Jonny Walker took control of the Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship lead, surpassing Cody Webb, with the overall victory at the AMV Seguros GP of Argentina.
Colton Haaker and Cody Webb tried their darnedest to best Jonny Walker. Walker was trying his best to have a perfect evening. Haaker has been steadily getting better at the SuperEnduro’s, having his best finish yet this weekend in Argentina. A wreck in the second event caused him to fall back a little, letting Walker have an easy win. Webb had a tough night of racing, wrecking a few times. Webb did finish off with a winning the 3rd event, keeping himself close to Walker in the overall points.
Round 4 of the Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship is in Brazil next weekend, February 27th. Let’s see if Webb can regain some ground on Walker in the overall points. We know that Haaker will be looking to continue his rise up the podium, eyes set on the top step.
