Day Two of the 2012 Red Bull ISDE is in the books, and things are starting to shape up. France is absolutely killing it, they are 11 seconds up on Australia, and do not look to be letting up. Four of their World Trophy team members (Renet, Meo, Nambotin, & Aubert) set the top four Overall through two days of competition. Australia has had great representation from Josh Strang, Toby Price and Matty Phillips, all of which had great second day performances. Italy is holding the third spot on the podium, with Finland, Spain and the United States close on their heels.

Toby Price is the man on fire today, winning three of the six tests. He is in the E3 class riding a rented KTM 500EXC and nursing a dented front rim. He had to replace three spokes yesterday so he could continue and feel safe about pushing the bike. Hopefully the wheel holds up and we can see Price rise to the top.

Charlie Mullens and Taylor Robert are the two Americans that are keeping the teams hope of a podium alive. Mullins finished eighth on the day Overall and is sitting in fourth place in the E2 class. Robert is four places back from Mullins in the E2 class in eighth and finished 13th today Overall. Caselli looked better, but is still a bit beaten up from his crash yesterday. Brown, Abbott and Bobbitt are riding strong, just not strong enough. The whole team will need to step it up if they are to podium this year.

Tomorrow we move on to a few new tests. The grass track test will still be ridden at the beginning and end of each day, getting more and more rough each time a rider touches it. Tune in to the site for updates daily and follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for more immediate news.
