2024 was the year I decided to follow an enduro series again. Since I have raced a lot of TSCEC throughout the years, I decided to race BJEC because I wanted a new challenge. It was certainly more driving, but the new trails, new venues, and new friends were well worth it.

As I work on a full enduro season recap video, I’m hoping you’ll enjoy a few of the race recaps you might have missed throughout the year. Thanks for following along on the journey.

Red Canyon Enduro

The Red Canyon Enduro kicked off the 2024 TSCEC & BJEC enduro series’. It was 65 miles of varying West Texas terrain that challenged every level of enduro racer. Enjoy the race recap, and get involved in the comments.

Sandwinder Enduro

Join us for the adrenaline-packed 2024 Sandwinder Enduro, the second race of the TSCEC schedule. Set against the stunning backdrop of the McMahan Ranch in Smithville, TX, this event promises epic terrain and fierce competition.

Cross Timbers Enduro

The 2024 Cross Timbers Enduro is the second race of the Black Jack Enduro Championship for the year. It’s held on the OHV Trails around Stanley Draper Lake in Oklahoma City. It’s fast, it’s flowy, and it leaves red dirt on your gear and bike for the rest of its life.

White Rock Enduro

The White Rock Enduro was exactly what I was looking for in a technical enduro. The roads were dusty, but the rocks and roots in the trail were still slick as all get out.

Cajun Classic National Enduro

The second round of the National Enduro Series was tucked into the piney woods of Forest Hill, Louisiana. The old WWII Military Base, Camp Claibourne, hides many wonders that us dirt bikers get to ride over, through, and around. The Acadiana Dirt Riders laid out a 60 mile course that wore down the entire field of racers. They kept us off the roads, transferring between test sections on fun single track that sustained the stroke of #GettingSeattime.

Hardwood Hills Enduro

The Hardwood Hills Enduro was 44 miles of an ass whooping good time!!! It was roughly a 7 hour drive from Bonham to get to the grassy pastures of south west Missouri. Though there isn’t a ton of elevation, there are rolling hills that create some wicked fun climbs & downhills. The small to medium sized rocks move underneath you like an earthquake. You click up a gear, lean back, & drop your heels to weight the bike in a way that’ll hopefully keep you upright.

Black Buffalo National Enduro

Round three of the National Enduro Series is the Red Line Oil Black Buffalo Enduro in Kingston, Arkansas. The Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch has some of the best views and technical single track. For the 2024 version of this event we had a ton of rain coming into race week. The rain continued to come down throughout the weekend, creating one of the muddiest race I have ever raced in (almost as bad as 2022 Shady Burro).

Leadbelt Enduro

The 2024 Leadbelt Enduro wasn’t a National Enduro this year, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t an epic race. The terrain changes drastically, the rocks are unforgiving, and the waterfall is SLIPPERY!!!!

Flying W National Enduro

The Flying W National Enduro kept the theme of “Missouri Technical” that I’ve experienced over this year of racing in the Show-Me State. The added element we haven’t experienced much this year was dust; the Flying W Ranch dirt was silty from lack of moisture, hanging in the air like a veil of secrecy. This elevated the technical nature of the loose rocks and raw terrain.

John Zink Ranch National Enduro

It’s always an awesome day when you get to ride a dirt bike at Zink Ranch. Due to the possibility of extremely hot days, the normal six test sections were shortened to five for Sunday’s race. The 58 total miles we did cover were still enough to have racers dropping out from crashes or “lack of fun”. The sh!t eating grin I ended the day with explained the good times I had!!!

Golden Eagle Sprint Enduro

The 50th Golden Eagle Sprint Enduro is the penultimate race of the 2024 Black Jack Enduro Circuit Season. It’s also the perfect opportunity to discuss where we lose, or gain, time in an enduro test section.

Iron Mountain Enduro

The 2024 Iron Mountain Enduro was everything an enduro racer could hope for in an enduro. The Barnwell Mountain Trail Riders laid out a technical course that had just enough flow and fast to keep the cramps down. Regardless of my result on the day, I will be voting for this race to be Enduro of the Year!

Barteau Ranch Enduro

54.7 Miles doesn’t seem like a “long enduro”. When you recognize that there were no transfer sections, and you raced the entirety of the miles on the route sheet, your perspective shifts. Keep Endurance in Enduro Baby!

Thanks again for checking out my 2024 Enduro Race Recaps. I hope you learned something along the way. The goal for 2025 is to hit the National Enduros while I still can. We’ll take the family to some races, and some I’ll just drive it solo. If you see me on the trail or at a race, don’t hesitate to say hi! Enjoy #GettingSeattime & Stay #Stoked! 🤘🏻🤙🏻⚡️
